Cancellation & Refund Policy – Telugu Students’ Council

The Telugu Students’ Council is a student-driven initiative dedicated to welfare, education, and support services. This Cancellation & Refund Policy explains the conditions under which student memberships, contributions, and event-related payments may be canceled or refunded.

1. Membership Cancellation

1.1 Students may cancel their membership at any time by contacting the Council or through the official online portal (if available).

1.2 Membership contributions (e.g., annual ₹100 or event-based contributions) are non-refundable once processed.

1.3 Upon cancellation, access to member-exclusive programs such as academic assistance, events, and welfare support may be discontinued.

2. Contribution & Program Cancellations

2.1 Contributions made toward student welfare, events, or sponsorship drives are voluntary and non-refundable.

2.2 In case of an event cancellation by the Council, students who paid a participation fee will be eligible for a full refund within 7 working days.

2.3 If a student cannot attend an event they registered for, they may request cancellation at least 48 hours in advance for a possible refund (subject to approval).

3. Emergency Aid & Counseling Support

3.1 Emergency or academic assistance provided to students is based on availability and need; requests for cancellation or refunds for such services are not applicable once availed.

3.2 Misuse of support systems may lead to membership review or suspension.

4. Transaction Failures & Refunds

4.1 If a transaction fails but the amount is debited, it will be auto-refunded within 7 working days by the payment gateway.

4.2 If no refund is received within that period, members should contact the Council with the payment reference details for verification.

5. Unauthorized Transactions

5.1 Any unauthorized or suspicious transaction should be reported to the Council immediately.

5.2 Verified unauthorized payments will be refunded if reported within 7 days of the transaction date.

6. Termination of Membership by Council

6.1 The Council reserves the right to revoke or suspend memberships in cases of misconduct, false representation, or misuse of services.

6.2 No refunds will be issued in cases where termination is due to policy violations or disciplinary actions.
